MonsterMower -Triple lawn mower test.
Trying out a simple idea in this oddball project called the monster mower.
In an effort to save time and money I put three conventional walk-along-mowers in to one pretty impressive beast. 1.5 meter, 5 feet, cutting width moving along at a steady pace of 1m/s, 3.6km/h. Will it fulfill its purpose? Time will tell, this is the first trial. Expect a follow-up in a month or so!
Hope to be able to return doing some aviation stuff in the near future.

Levitator 6 Investigating AoA tradeoff. Electric aircraft.

Trying out different angle of attack settings, exploring the flight characteristics and measuring the resulting power consumption variations. The lower, 10 degree, setting make the craft feel more connected, controllable and safe, although you do sacrifice some vertical axis authority.

Testing flight characteristics with a scale fairing and visualizing airflow with smoke. Reduced wing surface and angle of attack results in a more agile and speedy machine at the cost of hover efficiency. Hover efficiency for a 5.5:1 scale 12m2 -cockpit-interior-designable-dream-build would be in the 20-25kW region, pretty decent for a V-tol! Heat shrunk Tesa PP 4024 packing tape covered 6063 w...

Why is your site is not working anymore:(
Sir i like to buy your 3d printed jet engine ebook, please give me the link
is there a way to get the plans? your website is not working. should have bought them when i still could
Sir give me your email,I want to ask doubts about engine plss reply
Your website is unavailable. It just doesn't work here in Russia, or did something happen to this?
Next video i want you release video next about filling latex balloons with lead acid battery when charge it produces pure hydrogen can fill balloon fly up can you do video about it ? don't use all hole near positive !i can sad this impossible because inside battery have many plate when charge it produces hydrogen use a hole connect with pipe to bubbler and to balloon it can fly as well because it hydrogen pure can you do video about it?❤
Ist it possible that this is slightly dangerous? You're starting a balloon with a burning fuse that could go anywhere and then explodes. What if that balloon explodes near a window or a person? Or if it lands in dry grass before exploding?
i want one
So glad to see a new video, run the engines at a higher RPM and it might fly. 😉😉Interesting idea, as you say cheaper than a ride on.
lmao amazing idea
we miss u thk u
Next to do: make this mower autonomous.
This is just a proof of concept ruff build ! That thing is the final form. It's awesome
It's good to see you have almost full protection from the blades this time :D
Welcome back. I'm surprised you didn't use electric mowers. Seems to me they'd be easier to modify, increase the power, add another drive motor etc. Maybe add a small seat on wheels towed behind the mower? Good to see a project, at least it has rapidly spinning parts even if it doesn't rise into the air ..... oooh, wait ....
Very cool... Next step is to build a flying mower.
How about a robot mower? and a silent one
One project I've been wanting to work on is an FPV mower. Sit in your living room and mow the grass.
How cool.
I would color the cutoff cord bright red. Some other person might have to pull it.
The frame costs more than the 3 lawnmowers.
Could have used steel though, then it would be cheap.
Most UA-camr builders would call this a win! But we know you’re just sharing your cool daily work with us, so happy to be along for the ride from prototype forward.
Missed you and your projects. Whats become of the Levitator?
:-) I have spent the last six months+ getting settled in a new home with my family and this is the very first project rolled out from the new, almost finished, workshop. I hope to be back on track developing a new iteration of the levitator within a couple of weeks. Im longing for new flight tests as well!
@@amazingdiyprojectsThanks for the update! Love the content.
He didn't die in a contraption crash 🤣
I think this project offers a fine new opportunity......LOL!
Needs a little towable tray that you can stand in and cruise around under all three movers power, or remotely control it
for a brief moment I thought it might fly. I'm very glad it does not.
Very cool!
omg I was worried about you. thanks for a new upload :) <3
Impressive. Mount a seat over a small roller with a draw bar in front of it and fix it to the frame with a pivot point. Ride on mower.
Just 2 servos and a little bit of electronics and remote steered mega mower is ready 🙂
Good to see you back.
Nice project 👌
Hé is Alive!! Not a flying machine though but alive that is great!
could you not put the spare drive chain and motor behind it with a chair on top? Then you have a ride on.
fun experiment, and well thought out to be able to go back to 3 normal mowers.. Hope it works out for you.. Thanks for posting...
If you want to cut the grass more quickly you shoulda bought run-a-long mowers instead. 😉
I forgot how much I missed this voice until hearing it again! Glad to see you're still alive. Can't wait to watch this when i have some time :)
On level lawns it's great. If you have to mow over uneven terrain then scalping will be an issue. Great idea! I've thought of something similar for a tow-behind unit but where the wheels are all left on and all mowers are free to travel up and down on their own wheels. BTW: How is the levitator project coming along? I've missed your updates on it.
I've seen your idea in action from an old college buddy and it works well. He simply had a cross bar and two short links for each mower to pull and keep it in track. Backing was less controlled but for his major areas where he could easily go forward for long periods it worked very well. It could be improved, of course.
A neighbour has a riding mower and he tows 2 other mowers so they are outboard and cuts 8' wide at once
😆
Finally. He is back! UA-cam (and I) missed you!
You'd better buy an electric lawn mower robot, it pollutes a lot less, it makes less noise and it offers more free time for leisure.
Depends if you build it Yourself or buy one. Can get expensive.
Always great to see your uploads!!! Thanks for sharing👍 👍🇦🇺
Cooool,, 👍😎👍
